Spinn

Privacy Policy

Spinn is a tool that lets streamers run live giveaways from their stream chat (Twitch, Kick and YouTube). This policy describes what data we collect and how we use it.

Data we collect

When you sign in with Twitch, Kick or YouTube, the platform sends us your public ID, display name, profile picture and, when available, your email, used only to create and identify your account.

During a giveaway, we read the public chat messages of the channel you provide to find who typed the keyword. We only store the display name, platform and public profile picture of the entrants who joined.

So that anyone can verify the giveaway was fair (Provably Fair page), each round keeps the list of who was competing, only as platform and public username.

Usage statistics

To understand how Spinn is used, we record usage events without cookies: pages visited, time on page, referring site, language, device type, browser and operating system, page performance, errors, and actions such as creating a giveaway, drawing and confirming the winner (with the mode, the number of entrants per platform and the channels used).

Your IP address is used only at the time of the visit to estimate country, state and city, and to generate an anonymous identifier that changes every day. The IP is not stored. If your browser sends "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control", it does not send these events. Events are kept for up to 2 years. IP Geolocation by DB-IP.

How we use it

The data is used only to run the product: authentication, building the entrant list, drawing and showing the winner. We don’t sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising.

Retention and deletion

You can ask us to delete your account and its associated data at any time at the email below.
